Why.... Why... (to be read in the tone of Nancy Kerrigan after being hit in the knee by Tonya Harding)

ok. my ankle is killing me. i haven't even been able to wear the trendy boots yet! i think that i may have stretched my tendon (achilles tendon?) on my left ankle. it's swollen and hard to walk. last night i stayed in and iced it and bought a neoprene (is that even close to being spelled right??) brace to support it while i am walking. why does this happen to me? because i am a hypercondriac? maybe, that might be it.
today i am going off on my own to tour some museums or get lost. my guess, i am going to get lost - but if i find a museum along the way, i am going to tour it! it's nice today - no sun but a little warmer. there is never sun here - that's why i was so surprised when i saw it yesterday!
oh, i had my first class: art in london. what an amazing class that is going to be! we learn about all of the different movements and periods in art. ie: surrealism, baroque, neo-classicism, abstract impressionism, renaissance... i am so excited! of course, i am copying these off the paper of our little art quiz we took. stellar grade 0/50! i knew none of the answers! that's ok, only 4 or 5 people could answer 3 or 4 of the questions. the book we need to get it also going to be amazing, we can borrow them from the library, but i am going to buy mine. it's about ₤30 and called; a world history of art. i think it would make a great coffee table book later in life. especially since i studied it here in london.
i can't wait to go to paris this weekend! the original group of girls i was going to go with are post-poning their trip (one of their parents are coming, or the prices, or something of that matter) and i found another flatmate that actually has a friend who lives there. it's not a 100% done deal yet, but it's in the works. i hope we can make it. i have fridays off, so that gives me 3 days to travel.
well - i need to get myself ready for my new adventure!
