And today I did.....
nothing exciting... sorry guys. the sidewalk still hurts my ankle, my feet are tore up - no one wants to go to posh dinners with me here, blah, blah, blah. i did on the other hand have my first theatre class. i can't wait to see the shows. for anyone reading this who would like to skip over the next paragraph because you'd rather not read about theatre, i grant you permission now - otherwise, you are going to hear about the productions i am to see in the next 3 months.
on monday i am going to see the (ok, i know this isn't correct because these titles are supposed to be underlined - but frankly there is no underline part to this blog, so for all intents and purposes - they will be in " " - got it?? ;)
we are going to see "the complete works of shakespeare" in the criterion theatre. the rest are as follows: "shunt" in a theatre underneath the london bridge (should be very interesting! erin & lora will be with me, oh, wait - they didn't know they'd have to do school work with me... the surprises are endless!) then we are going to see "the producers". then to the globe theatre for a tour! this will be stellar! com'on guys, the GLOBE theatre? I'm so excited! then we are seeing "rhinoceros", "the house of bernarda alba", "astronaut", "hedda gabler", "julius ceaser" (which again should be amazing to see in london!) & "the woman in black". ok, now in all honesty - i don't know anything about most of these shows. in fact, i had to ask someone about "the producers", but now i will surely pretend that i know exactly about it if anyone asks me. evidently i am the only one who hasn't heard of it. huh, imagine that! there are also 2 shows that i am not required to see for class and will be seeing for purely my own enjoyment; "a life in the theatre" starring the hot body of joshua jackson.. think dawsons creek? the skulls? (hint, hint - i'm trying to help you ole'timers out because you are thinking 'whose this joshua jackson guy?') and there is another production here starring kim cattrall "whose life is it anyways". both should be really good! lora & erin, we can go see all of them! yay! what's that? you are only staying for a week? awe, too bad - looks like you are going to have to stay for 2 weeks! what? you can't? you can't because you have to go to work? guess we are going to have to play a game of 'uh-oh, now where did i put your plane tickets for safe keeping'! :) soooo, who else wants to come here and visit? we can play the same game!
my paris trip is officially booked! i am leaving on april 28th. this sat we are taking a boat ride to greenwich - hopefully it will produce some great pics. ok, if not great pics - great stories of why i didn't take any pics because there are free drinks on the boat?? kidding family members - i'm kidding...
oh, guess who has to go to the computer store tomorrow???? anyone reading this have any computer questions that i could waste sometime asking??? if you don't know what i am talking about - you need to read this blog more often!
oh, and by the way (to my "special" reader) i did bring 'trainers' to london & i have worn them! they are much more comfortable than my posh looking boots. and the cabela's boots you ask? if i can find a pair in prada or versace - they will be mine and on my feet quicker than you can say 'i'm so proud of my favorite daughter!!' ----- i love you dad!
this is hoping that my special reader is my father... if not, who ever else is obsessed with cabela's products should then talk to my dad about them!

What, you've never heard of the "Producers"? It's only one of the most popular plays of the year and one of the most recognizable Mel Brooks productions, duh! You should definitely see it Jamie, it's really funny and at one point Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane were in it (but I think that was in NYC...but maybe they're doing it in London too?). But definitely go see Pacey too...and we can stalk him while we're there...I mean, since he'll be there at the same time and all ;-) Love ya'! ~Erin
