i am sorry... please forgive me?

it has been entirely too long since i have posted. no fault of anyones but my own. i flew home on sunday from frankfurt, germany. it was sad leaving my uncle rudolph and steffi. i stayed at the airport with my mum until she had to board her plane. i then took a train to my airport and remained there for 5 hours before my flight was scheduled to leave. there were only 3 stores to shop in and a few places to eat, but steffi packed me a lunch so i just sort of wandered around... i did pay €7.50 for a people magazine (yeah, thats about $10) but i didn't know that charlie sheen and denise richards got divorced, so i had to get it. as soon as i checked my luggage (and paid again, €70 extra because it was too heavy) i sat down with my magazine and then noticed the most beautiful man i have ever seen before in my life. no, not in the magazine, sitting 3-4 rows away from me. tall, med build, brown hair, blue eyes, great sense of style, perfect teeth. vince vaugh, brad pitt - not comparison. he didn't have a ring on either (of course, that doesn't really matter - ring, no ring - you all cheat anyway men! i'm kidding...) i didn't talk to him. i thought about it, i did. but i saw the scene happening something like an episode of south park when stan throws up on bebe when he talks to her. there i would be trying to talk to the greek god of the frankfurt-hahn airport and i would throw up all down the front of him. instead i just sat there trying to read the magazine - which you know didn't happen. i played with my hair a little, pretending i was looking around the airport at other things, just praying to make eye contact. and i am sure we did, but then my face probably turned bright red and he thought to himself 'i think that girls head is going to explode off her neck'. yeah - good impression jaim, and your wondering why they aren't beating down your door.
on monday classes resumed and that meant i would have to do something. i had to go to this art museum called the serpentine gallery. i lost one hour off my life after being forced to go and view this gallery. they call it art, i call it some lady who took 3-4 empty rooms and 50 decks of cards and just threw them up in the air. then she took about 10 computers and tore the insides out. then took some toys and hooked them up to car batteries and... well, you can see for yourself: http://www.serpentinegallery.org/current.html
i almost forgot, i had some birthday presents waiting for me when i got back from germany. a very public thank you to miss scott and miss joint! due to miss scott though, i lost tuesday (then entire day) to watching seasons 1-4 of the coupling. it's brittans response to friends + sex in the city. remember when they attempted an american version a few years back, yeah - copied from this version and let me tell you - i couldn't tear myself away from it.
wednesday i met karen for lunch and went to my theatre class. we were pulled out in the middle of class for a photo shoot for the new study abroud brochure. you know me - i had fun with that. ''hey mr. photographer, are we going to have some beer glasses in our hands for this?'' '' you want it to look authentic, don't you'' that night, karen and i went to see a life in the theatre with joshua jackson and patrick stewart. the only good part of the play was that we got to see joshua jackson in a pair of underware a few times. besides that, i lost another 2 hours of my life this week. http://www.albemarle-london.com/lifeinthetheatre.html it is supposed to be a comedy - and there were people laughing. but there were also people sleeping... sorry pacey!
that night, karen and daybe came to my room bearing gifts! i got this beautiful scarf (from spain) from dayna and a gorgeus braclet (from florence) from karen. plus a 3 pack of wine from italy. so, we drank some of the wine, then a bottle of wine i had since the lora and erin adventures. karen and i had a drunken adventure of our own. well, not so much really - it was just us two in my flat looking up plate tectonics on the internet and eating dove chocolate like it was going out of style. but it was well worth it - besides the hangover headache from hell the next morning. karens day turned out worse than mine, but i wont re-live that for her here on the blog! by the way,
european theives = 3
karen/american students = 0
karen was the one who had her mobile stole the first week of school, well she also had someone steal her camera from her purse in barcelona then she had someone else knife her purse (but she didn't lose anything). speaking of barcelona....
i am leaving for italy next thursday and going to: http://www.jimtardio.com/italy-cinque-terre.html cinqu-terre! tell me this place isn't beautiful! then on sat night, i am taking a train into rome and staying there sat & sunday night, flying home on monday. i am going by myself to rome, so this should be interesting since i speak this much this much italian. jamie = 0 italian. the following weekend i am going to scotland. The next week after that is to paris, then wales the next weekend! after that, i may stay here in europe (if i can change my flight home by 4 days and not have it be a ridiculous expense) and go to barcelona and then fly into prague. i will meet dayna and karen there, then fly home to london - the back to the usa. i can't wait to do all of this! what an opportunity i have taken for myself. and it is all thanks to mark! because if he would have been a real man, i would have been married right now. but since he wasn't, i have become a world traveller instead!
i have an absolute ton of work to do for class. i have been at the library for a few hours now, working on the blog instead. i didn't want to disapoint anyone anymore - so i hope you feel just a little bad that my school work isn't done :) have to blame someone, right?
by the way, i will post pics to the blog soon, possibly tonight.

Helloo Lovely! That was my Kings English accent that I just displayed there? In case you're wondering Kings English is what they speak in London. Although I would hope that you would know that. I will call before you go to Italy. Can you bring me back some tiramisu????? Please! Thanks dove.
